Collinsworth to coach at Highlands

Cris Collinsworth, former Cincinnati Bengal, and current NBC Sunday Night Football analyst, announced today that he would coach his son’s high school football team if the NFL season is cancelled or delayed.

And you though Chad Ochocinco had some interesting side jobs during the lockout.

Collinsworth will coach wide receivers for Highlands High School in Northern Kentucky. The Bluebirds are four-time defending state champions in Kentucky.

“The pay wasn't much (zero), but [Highlands head coach Dale Mueller] promised I would have fun,” Collinsworth wrote in a blog post. Collinsworth said he was excited to coach his son Jac, a wide out for Highlands. Collinsworth, whose son Austin is entering his second season at Notre Dame, still lives in Northern Kentucky.
