An open letter to my readers...

Dear Readers (and NASCAR fans),

I normally post a race recap after each race, and planned to do so this weekend. However, my video tape of the race didn't, well, tape, and so I only caught four laps of the race. And while those four laps might be enough to write about, I feel that it wouldn't be fair to those who saw the whole race.

Plus, Mark Martin got knocked out after seven laps, so there's no telling if I would have watched the whole thing anyway. I feel that it is my ethical duty to you--my readers--to let you know what happened, and why this isn't an "Aaron's 499" race recap post.

This weekend might provide the same busy race evening, but I will do my best to either make sure my VCR works (I'm still running with 1980's technology) or I watch the race live to provide you with a rightful recap of the evening's events.

I still plan on previewing the biggest stories of the weekend on either Thursday or Friday with a preview post, as I normally would. I ask for your patience and understanding for not having a race recap post. Plus, if you want my opinion on the last four laps, well, I'd probably ruin any credibility I've earned to this point with you.

Let's just call it a weekend and move on to Richmond. Have a great Monday fellow NASCAR fans and loyal readers.

Sincerely yours,
Adam

Tomorrow or Wednesday I'll try to give you thoughts on what went down this past weekend. It was a wild one which included my final girl's basketball game of the season, the UC football spring game (Bearcat Bowl III) and seeing six former Bearcats drafted into the NFL. My thoughts on those events will come later.
