All Mariah Carey wanted for Christmas was “you,” and while it is unconfirmed on whether or not she got her gift, I got some cool ones. From the most practical to the most fun, let’s take a quick look at some of my Christmas favorites from this year.
By far my two favorite gifts of the season had to do with my computer. We have a new printer, and a much needed printer at that, for the whole family to use. And, I got a brand new laptop battery to replace my year-and-a-half old battery which was starting to last a very short time (Mac users chime in with your 11-hour battery life span comments now).
My brother and I also received quite the assortment of dress shirts and ties for Christmas. We have vowed to be the best dressed coaches in the girl’s basketball conference this season (disclaimer: we may dress well, but we’re not sure if the results of our team will match our dress).
Speaking of clothes, it’ll be nice to wear my brand new Mark Martin hooded sweatshirt and long-sleeved t-shirt I received on Christmas Day. Anyone else fired up about the Daytona 500, which is seven weeks and six days away (not that I’m counting or anything)?
And if you’re a fan of working “Eight Days a Week” you’d be pleased to find out that I bought the “Rock Band Beatles” edition with a gift card I received. Party at our house? Just let me know when you want to rock out with the Fab Four.
