Cats in the Community video

Check out GoBearcats.com for a story that was shot and edited by yours truly. And maybe you’ll recognize the voice that accompanies the video too. (See the video here: http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=cinn&media=180754)

Here’s the story: On Thursday, May 6th, three UC football players Brent Black, Adrian Witty and Kenbrell Thomkins along with three members of the football staff, Director of Player Personnel Jahmile Addae, Administrative Assistant Chris Spognardi, and recruiting assistant Kevin Maurice, traveled to Hamilton, Ohio to help renovate the home of the Powell family.

The players pulled weeds and shoveled a garden area clean as part of $70 thousand in renovations to the home, helping volunteers from four different area churches complete renovations to the 100-year-old house.

After working, all six members of the football program took a walk through the house to see the work other volunteers were completing.

The Powell family returned home on Saturday the 8th just in time for Mother’s day.
