Brad Fritz featured on FOX 19

Two years ago I wrote a quick story about Brad Fritz—my second cousin—and how his graduation from Thomas More College inspired many people across the tristate. Now, he travels around to local high schools and spreads his message, warning teens that one simple mistake, like the one Brad made 11 years ago, could ruin all they have going for them.

(My 2008 stories on Brad: http://adamniemeyer.blogspot.com/2008/05/this-college-grad-inspires.html and http://adamniemeyer.blogspot.com/2008/05/enquirer-update-story-on-brad-fritz.html)

This past week FOX19 news anchor Tricia Macke got a chance to sit down and talk to Brad about his story, and why it’s important for Brad to tell teens about life’s choices.

To see the video you have to click on this link: http://www.fox19.com/global/Category.asp?C=151146&clipId=&topVideoCatNo=15048&topVideoCatNoB=109491&topVideoCatNoC=104760&topVideoCatNoD=141804&topVideoCatNoE=142722&autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=4751967&flvUri=&partnerclipid=

I pretty much think the story speaks for itself. In the eleven years since Brad’s accident, I’ve had the opportunity to hear Brad talk about it—to my health class at Elder High School. I knew the story, but my classmates did not, and Brad’s advice definitely had an effect on all gathered in that room that morning. And I’m hoping the students at St. Henry all got the same message.
