Ah, the best laid plans

Needless to say blog followers, I neglected you on Friday, but my look at the silly season and NASCAR's changing faces and places will be run at another time. This week may be a little spotty in terms of posting too, just as a forewarning.

It's week five of classes in the Winter Quarter at UC, so lots of tests and midterm exams are springing up. Unfortunately the blog becomes secondary work when school related activities arise. But I'll try to post a few good ideas and thoughts as the countdown to Daytona slips inside two weeks.

Some stories to look forward to are my feature on Elder High School's basketball team and the online community of Mark Martin fans, the Markaholics. I've also contacted Jeff Gluck for a possible story on his recent career roller coaster ride, but we're currently playing e-mail tag.

Hopefully everyone understands and can bare with me for this week. It's going to be a busy one.
