NASCAR Banquet Video

Mark Martin gave one heck of a speech at the NASCAR Awards Banquet on Friday night. And, while I didn't see it, NASCAR.com has this video for you to watch and recap.



Perhaps the best thing Mark said was at the end. When he talks about the relationships he's built with his fans, friends and family, I can't help but think about that Friday afternoon at Indianapolis where I walked up to him, shook his hand and proclaimed my pride in being able to root for him since I started watching NASCAR racing.

He really is an inspiration and one of the best, with or without a championship trophy. Thanks for 2009 Mark, I enjoyed it, your fans enjoyed it, and we're looking forward to many more memories in 2010.
