Hinder to perform post-qualifying concert on Brickyard 400 weekend

While we’re two weeks away from NASCAR taking over the Bluegrass State, there was some news about the other race I love to go to and share about, the Brickyard 400.

On Thursday morning the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced that Hinder will perform a concert on the main stage in the infield after NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying on Saturday afternoon in Speedway. It will be the headline event to a day now called “Brickfest” at the track celebrating 100 years of racing this year.

“Brickfest” is billed as a similar event to the Miller Lite sponsored Carb Day held before the Indy 500 in May.

The schedule at NASCAR’s stop in the Hoosier state has been flipped flopped this season. In the morning the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers will have a 90-minute practice starting at 10 a.m. before qualifying, which is scheduled to kick off at 2:10 p.m.

Tickets for “Brickfest” are $15, and kids under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. For more on Hinder’s concert and the day before the Brickyard 400, visit IMS’s website:

There are 38 days until the Brickyard 400, and as soon as the Quaker State 400 coverage ceases here on the blog, Brickyard 400 coverage will ramp up. It will be a busy and exciting July. I hope you’ll stick around and check out all the sights, sounds, photos, videos and stories I provide in the next month or so.
